In a power move to enable partners to to accrue greater margin benefits, Microsoft has slashed their transaction fees from an industry-standard 20% to the now in-effect 3%. “This is our investment in your success, so you can invest more in your business and in your people,” Nadella told partners.

Accelerate customer acquisition — through Teams App 

Ushering in a new era of Marketplaces success for ISVs and cloud-based software businesses, Microsoft announced during Microsoft Inspire 2021 that it was opening new doors for partner success — the capability to sell and purchase solutions within the Microsoft Teams app itself.
