The change in CSP program aims to help Microsoft partners accelerate business growth, simplify licensing, and address how their customers prefer to purchase. Since adding the new commerce experience for Microsoft Azure in 2019, Microsoft has continued to heavily invest in and innovate the CSP Program to deliver a consistent, simplified, and flexible purchase experience for customers and partners. The latest addition to list of changes includes seat-based offers in CSP for Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Windows 365, and Power Platform.
At the core of it, for a Microsoft partner, it entails the ability and opportunity to build and deliver more managed services, expand your customer base, and help guide your customers through their transformational journey to the cloud. New commerce for seat-based offers will enhance the purchasing experience and lay the foundation for future capabilities by incorporating proven offer types from legacy Microsoft licensing programs.
